Tuition Taxation Information


FY 15 Compensation Information for All Classified staff:

The State has approved a 2.5% Across the Board increase for all State Classified employees. Merit pay has also been approved and will be based on performance and quartiles (just like last year).

Letters will be sent out soon to all Classified staff detailing what their new salary will be effective July 1.

Minimum Wage Increase

Effective Jan. 1, 2014, the Colorado minimum wage will increase to $8.00 per hour from $7.78 per hour. Payroll will adjust hourly rates for all current employees who are making less than $8.00 per hour. No paperwork is needed for current employees.
EPAF Originators should make a note of this and submit new employees at the new rate of $8.00 or higher.

Your 2013 W2 Wage and tax statement is now available on Banner Self Service! You may access this information by logging into URSA ttps:// and selecting the Employee tab and then Link to Banner Self Service. You will then select the Employee option and then Tax Forms.
As of 2012, The Affordable Care Act requires employers to report the cost of coverage under an employer-sponsored group health plan. This means that you will see an amount in box 12DD on your W2 if you have Medical, Dental, or Vision plans with UNC.  This amount is the sum of the employee and employer costs of your coverage.  For more information on this law, please visit
Note-Payroll will still provide a paper W-2’s to those who still prefer to get their W2’s in the mail.  These will be mailed out the week of January 31st, 2014.
