3rd Annual Dessert Competition

The Professional Administrative Staff Council (PASC) & Classified Staff Council (CSC) have teamed up to bring you the Dessert Competition again!

Come as a competitor, or a taster!
Taster’s Fee:  $5 per person

the 44th Annual Employee Recognition Banquet which will be held on Tuesday March 24th from 5:30-8:30. All UNC Employees may attend the event for free. Additionally, each honoree may bring one guest with them for free. This is our chance to recognize and celebrate all staff who are reaching milestone awards. The list of honorees and additional details for the event will be available in January.

Beckie Croissant, 2013 - 14 Employee of the Year, College of Natural & Health Sciences

 

Employee of the Year 2014-15 Beckie Croissant

Beckie began her service at UNC in 2003 as an Administrative Assistant in the School of Teacher Education before transferring to the College of Natural and Health Sciences in 2005 and has since been promoted to Student Services Specialist, with the focus of serving all students within the college.

 The dedication and commitment Beckie has shown in her work with the NHS Student Ambassadors and NHS Student College has led to their meaningful engagement in the life of the College in ways that promote the success of other students and the visibility of the University in the community. 

Her creativity in developing the NHS Scrapbooking Social as a fundraiser for the NHS Student Research Fund and her exceptional work to assure its success every year speaks to her deep ties to UNC and her enthusiasm for advancing student learning.  

Beckie is also a past representative on PASC and the Space Utilization Committee, and is a current member of both the Admissions Advisory Board and the TEAM UNC Committee. 

Beckie is willing to step up and help with any task that needs to be done.  No task is off-limits!

Beckie works for the good of the entire College.  She exudes calmness and competence in all situations and will always help find a solution to any problem with composure and compassion.

Beckie’s motivation and hard work comes from wanting to do whatever she can to help make our college and UNC the best place possible. 

She works tirelessly and selflessly on behalf of students and staff, while also working to complete her Master’s degree in Higher Education Student Affairs Leadership.
