PASC Professional Development Grant

2014-2015 PASC Professional Development Grant

The PASC Professional Development Grant is intended to benefit exempt employees (must hold at least a .50 FTE position) who may not otherwise be able to participate in professional development opportunities.  This application does not guarantee any funding to the applicant. Applicants will be notified of decision within 5 business days after the application deadline of September 1st or March 1st. Eligible professional development opportunities include conference registration fees, webinars, and certificate training.  The grant does not cover tuition, student fees, travel expenses or food.

If your application is approved, you will then be required to submit a paid receipt of conference registration fees, webinars, or certificate training. Disbursement of grant monies will not take place until a receipt of qualified expenses has been received by PASC.

Two grants will be awarded for each period outlined below:

September 1st Deadline

For opportunities with a start date between September 15th and March 14th.

March 1st Deadline

For opportunities with a start date between March 15th and September 14th.

 Each grant will cover up to $250 in qualified expenses. If qualified expenses are less than $250, then awardee will only be reimbursed for the lesser amount.

Applicants who are awarded a PASC Professional Development Grant must wait at least one full year after grant is awarded before applying for future PASC Professional Development Grants.
