The Professional Administrative Staff Council (PASC) was established in 1986 to advise the University on matters relevant to its constituents and to participate in University governance. It is the mission of the Council to advocate for and to provide a systematic means for professional staff to communicate with the various elements of the University community, as well as with other professional administrative staff.
The purpose of the Professional Administrative Staff Council is:
- to serve as the representative body for professional administrative employees of the University of Northern Colorado and to participate in such policy matters of the institution as may affect its constituents.
- to function for the welfare of the University and for the employees it represents by proposing and undertaking education and service projects and actively participating in current developments and issues that are relevant to the professional administrative employees of the University.
- to function as an advisory and policy referral body to the University administration and to the professional administrative employees of the University.
Meetings
The council has monthly meetings that are open to the campus community.

Employee of the Year
Lori Reinsvold Named 2008 PASC Employee of the Year 
Lori Reinsvold, Director of the Technology Literacy Center in the Mathematics and Science Teaching Institute, has been named the 2008 Professional Administrative Staff Council Employee of the Year. Reinsvold was honored during the annual banquet on March 2. Reinsvold was nominated by Dr. Steven Anderson with support from Drs. Bill Hoyt, Jodie Novak and Nancy Kellogg for her professionalism, excellent organization skills, positive attitude and efforts, and for being the "heart and soul" of the MAST Institute.
