Message from the Director
Hello and welcome to campus! We hope that you take the time to enjoy and appreciate all that
the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley and northern Colorado have to offer. We have a beautiful campus and a lot of great educational offerings to experience. We know you'll enjoy your stay.
UNC's Parking Services is here to provide safe and efficient lots to park your vehicles in. We aren't funded through the University, nor through student fees. We are a self-supporting auxiliary of the institution. Most of our revenue is generated by selling permits and lot enforcement. We are always looking for ways to make that more convenient and efficient for our customers. If you have any questions about parking on campus, please call us at (970) 351-1971 to get your answers. We are a part of the UNC Police Department.
We work hard to keep our information clear, concise and transparent so that our customers can make good, informed choices for parking. Our Parking Rules & Regulations are available online, and we’re happy to answer any questions you may have about how to operate safely and properly on campus. Each parking lot on campus has signage at the entrance(s) which clearly states the hours of enforcement and the fact that a permit is necessary to park there. Along with the annual and daily scratch-off permits we sell at the office, there are hourly/daily permits available at 10 "Luke" pay to park machines across campus.
One of our main responsibilities is to enforce the Parking Rules & Regulations. The Rules & Regs have been put in place over the years by those above us to keep orderly and efficient parking available for all of our customers. We enforce them as fairly and consistently as possible each day.
Please use the lots wisely and safely. I'm sure you don't want to get a parking ticket, and frankly we'd rather not give them. So be informed, make good choices and enjoy what UNC and our beautiful location have to offer!
