January 10, 2014 Orientation
Moving in to your Residence Hall
Because you are attending the Orientation session on January 10, you will be able to move in on January 9 after 4:00pm. You do not need to make any special arrangements as we will be providing Housing and Residential Education a list of students who we expect to arrive for Orientation. Your Resident Assistant and Hall Director will be expecting you although they may not be available until after 7:00pm.
** If you are moving on campus on January 9, plan to arrive before 3pm and go to the University Center (2nd floor) to get your UNC ID (you will need your Bear Number). Your card will also allow you access into your residence hall and room.
Please refer to the Housing and Residential Education website for general Move-In Information.
Parking is available at the University Center (between 10th and 11th Avenue on 20th Street) in either the north or south lots and is free in these lots for orientation sessions. There is no need to park anywhere else during Orientation, but if you wish to park somewhere else, you will need to buy a day pass from one of the daily "Pay to Park" parking dispensers
GPS users: the University Center address is 2045 10th Ave, Greeley, CO 80639
You may check-in to Orientation on the second floor of the University Center between 8:15 and 8:55am. You will see us around the fireplace; you can't miss us!
Pre-registered parents or other guests will check in seperately than their student and pay the $15 registration fee (cash or check only) at that time.
Any students, parents, or other guests who need to walk-in can do so during the check-in time.
January 9: All meals on your own. Some retail dining is available in the University Center with limited hours.
January 10: Lunch is provided to students and registered Parent Orientation participants. Dinner is on your own; some retail dining available in the University Center with limited hours.
January 11-12: Student meal plans begin with brunch on Saturday in the dining halls. Some retail dining is also available in the University Center on Sunday with limited hours.
For details regarding meals on campus during this time period, visit the Dining Services website.
For this session, parents and guests will not be able to stay on campus but may refer to our local hotel listings for lodging information.
