My higher education experiences have always connected me with students and their engagement within their institution. I have been at UNC since 2012 and collaborate with the orientation staff and the campus wide community to figure out and implement how we best welcome new students. I previously worked at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Student Activities where I supported Greek Life, the leadership program, and supervised the Orientation Leaders. I was a graduate student at Indiana University and got to work at the Student Alumni Association, mostly helping with leadership and programming activities. I am slowly completing a doctoral degree which means I will be adding more research about college students to the field. I enjoy advocating for positive change wherever I can.
All of these experiences make me passionate about supporting the transition of UNC students and collaborating with others to keep this institution great.
