Our professional staff supports all aspects of New Student Orientation, including the supervision of our amazing student staff! We also work with many of our campus partners to make sure your orientation experience is filled with meaningful information and resources to support you along your journey as a student. We are a fun bunch dedicated to ensuring your successful transition to the University of Northern Colorado!

Our student staff are current UNC students who make up our Orientation Leaders, Senior Orientation Leaders, and Senior Orientation Assistants. Together, our student staff is at the forefront of your transition and will actively lead your orientation experience on campus. Our student staff have chosen to work for New Student Orientation because they are passionate about helping you, and understand how support can go a long way as you become a part of the UNC family. This staff undergoes an intensive three-week training leading up to the summer orientation sessions, and are an energetic and caring group of leaders ready to welcome you to this wonderful community of bears! Favorite thing @UNC: Government Publications in Michener Library! It is so awesome and surreal to read documents actually published in places like the library of congress!

People’s willingness to learn American Sign Language and understand and appreciate Deaf people and culture.

Involvement on campus: Former member of Student Radio – looking forward to joining more organizations on campus this upcoming year.
Favorite thing @UNC: The UC is probably my favorite place on campus closely followed by the Michener library. My favorite aspect is the cultural centers and overall diversity.
Something that inspires you: Potential! Daydreaming is one of my favorite things and considering things that could be inspires me like nothing else.
