Information for Parents

This program welcomes people who are a part of the student's family and friend support network to attend Orientation with the student. Participants will become more confident in their student's ability to successfully transition to UNC and begin to adjust to their new role as a parent of a college student.

You will attend Parent Orientation on the same date as your student. Please note that there is a seperate reservation process for students and parents; parents are not automatically signed up with the student.

Freshman Student Dates:

June 12-13 - Closed
June 17-18 - Closed, walk-ins welcome during check-in time
June 19-20 - Closed, walk-ins welcome during check-in time
June 24-25 - Closed, walk-ins welcome during check-in time
June 26-27 - closed for new student reservations, open for you until June 20.
