Summer 2010 Orientation Dates

Choosing an Orientation Date

As a student you will attend the orientation session for the college that your major is in.  For example, students with a major in Biology would attend the session for the College of Natural & Health Sciences.  Please see the complete list of colleges and their majors.

UNC manages the enrollment in freshmen level courses throughout the summer.  No particular orientation session has a registration advantage over any other. Each session is allotted spaces for fall semester classes.

Staying Overnight

You will stay overnight in our residence halls during New Student Orientation. Linens are provided; we recommend bringing a pillow, toiletries, and shower shoes.

Students will not stay in their Fall resident hall room.

You may move into your residence hall room on August 19th for the academic year. Please see the Housing & Residence Life website for information.
