Moving in to your Residence Hall

You do not need to make any special arrangements as Orientation will be providing Housing and Residential Education a list of students who are scheduled to attend this session. Please note that you will not be able to move in before 1:00pm on Monday.
Cost to you: If you choose to move in before Orientation, you will be billed $25 for Monday night to your student account. Orientation will cover the cost to stay in your room on Tuesday, August 20 and Housing and Residential Education has waived the cost for Wednesday, August 21.
If you are moving on campus on August 19, plan to arrive before 1:00pm and go to the University Center (2nd floor) to get your UNC ID (you will need your Bear Number). This will allow you access into your residence hall and room. Otherwise, you can get your ID during Orientation.
