Which Orientation Session Should I Attend?

To ensure the most accurate and appropriate academic advisement and course registration, you need to select an orientation session for the college that offers your major. For example, if you are declared Theater, you need to attend a session designed for the College of Performing and Visual Arts.

Students admitted to any pre-major programs other than Pre-Business (see below) are encouraged to attend sessions for their intended major. For example, if you are declared Pre-Nursing, you should attend one of the sessions designed for the College of Natural and Health Sciences. To find a comprehensive list of which majors are in each college as well as date options for that college, please see below.

Students declared Pre-Business should attend sessions for undeclared students.

UNC manages the enrollment in freshmen level courses throughout the summer. No particular orientation session has a registration advantage over any other. Each session is allotted spaces for fall semester classes.
