Orientation Checklist

Before Orientation

1. Reserve your orientation date and select your fall classes here.
   • Don’t forget to include dietary, disability, and interpreting needs!
   • Mail-in reservation form (pdf)
   • Mail-in reservation form (doc)
2. Send your AP/IB/CLEP/transfer credits to the Office of Admissions
3. Send your immunization records to the Student Health Center
4. Get excited about becoming a Bear!

During Orientation

1. Check-in on the second floor of the University Center – look for the blue and gold balloons
2. Get your photo taken for your UNC Card
3. Set up your Wells Fargo account (it’s free)
4. Pick up your free copy of the Freedom Writers Diaries, the 2008 Freshmen Book
5. Pick up a key for your overnight stay in the residence halls
6. Enjoy learning about UNC and becoming a part of the family!

After Orientation

1. Congratulations! You’re now a UNC Bear!
2. Review and/or modify your course schedule on URSA
3. Purchase a parking permit
4. Pay tuition and fees on URSA by 8 September 2008
5. Get Involved! Go to events during Welcome Week, Fall Bazaar, Greek Week, etc.
6. Classes begin 25 August 2008
