This program, a combined effort between New Student Orientation, Outdoor Pursuits and Off-Campus Life, offers students the opportunity to develop relationships with other new students, student leaders, and staff or faculty. Service projects and outdoor adventures create an intimate environment that can alter the student experience before the first semester begins!
Extended Orientation will occur Wednesday, July 30 - Sunday, August 3, 2014 and the cost is $150, which includes all meals, overnight accommodations, trips, and transportation.
Wednesday - check in at 4pm on campus, dinner in Holmes Dining Hall, camping overnight on campus
Thursday - service project in Weld County, drive to Estes Park and camping at Saint Mary's Lake campground overnight
Friday - whitewater rafting trip with Rocky Mountain Adventures (Mishawaka Lunch Trip) and camping overnight (same campground)
Saturday - service project in Estes Park for flood relief efforts and 2-hour horseback riding excursion at Sombrero Ranch, camping overnight (same campground)
