Sociology Online Degree Completion
Program Celebrates First Graduates
Congratulations to the First Graduates from the Online Degree Completion Option of the Sociology Bachelor of Arts Program
In Summer 2011, UNC debuted our first online degree completion program—featuring a major in Sociology—to serve students with previous college credit who needed a convenient, accessible path to earn their bachelor's degree. At Spring 2013 Commencement, the Sociology department was able to celebrate their first four graduates from the online program.
- April Franklin
- Beatriz Guijosa
- Nancy Moore
- Dala Niesent
The First Four of Many More to Come
The Sociology online degree completion program is now serving dozens of students, providing a liberal arts degree with transferable skills to students across Colorado and the world. Each of those students is now working towards the goal that these four accomplished this Spring: completing their college degree through UNC. We are so very proud of our online degree completion graduates, and are thrilled to provide bachelor's degree access to those who may not be able to enroll in our on-campus programs.
