For Colorado Freshman
Greeley Promise Scholarship
- Must graduate from a District 6 Greeley High School or Dayspring Academy in 2009
- Colorado Resident
- Must complete the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Must complete the UNC Universal Scholarship Application by March 1 2009 for the upcoming academic year (fall, spring)
- Must qualify for need based financial aid to receive grant funds to cover tuition, fees and books
- If a student doesn't qualify for need based aid, a $2,000 award will be offered
- Renewable as long as student maintains a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and completes the FAFSA each year
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
First Generation Scholarship
- New Freshman admitted for fall 2009
- Colorado Resident
- Neither parent has obtained a bachelor's degree
- Competitive (limited funds available)
- Based on financial need
- Must complete the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Must complete the UNC Universal Scholarship Application by March 1 2009 for the upcoming academic year (fall, spring)
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Value of the award is $4,000 for academic year
