More Scholarship Money for Incoming Colorado Residents in 2009!

For Colorado Freshman

Greeley Promise Scholarship

• Must graduate from a District 6 Greeley High School or Dayspring Academy in 2009
• Colorado Resident
• Must complete the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Must complete the UNC Universal Scholarship Application by March 1 2009 for the upcoming academic year (fall, spring)
• Must qualify for need based financial aid to receive grant funds to cover tuition, fees and books
• If a student doesn't qualify for need based aid, a $2,000 award will be offered
• Renewable as long as student maintains a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and completes the FAFSA each year
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress

First Generation Scholarship

• New Freshman admitted for fall 2009
• Colorado Resident
• Neither parent has obtained a bachelor's degree
• Competitive (limited funds available)
• Based on financial need
• Must complete the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Must complete the UNC Universal Scholarship Application by March 1 2009 for the upcoming academic year (fall, spring)
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
• Value of the award is $4,000 for academic year
