Alternative loans are private educational loans that are not guaranteed by the federal government. The following lenders offer these loans as assistance for students to meet educational expenses. You are encouraged to review the loans and the benefits or restrictions of each at their individual web sites. You can apply for these loans online or call the toll free numbers provided. UNC will certify the loan if you are eligible, be sure to pay attention to whether or not you have to be making satisfactory academic progress to apply.
