The building attendant is responsible for monitoring facilities to ensure rules and operational procedures and being followed. Duties include, but are not limited to, arriving 15 minutes prior to shift start time, perform duties reliably, provide substitute when unable to work scheduled shift and notify the supervisor of this, perform maintenance duties to ensure rules and operational procedures are being followed, can provide internal and external customer service, set up equipment and other duties as facility as needed, prepare facility for work and ensure it is properly cleaned and organized before use, and provide a positive example to participants through conduct, dress and manners. Experience/Educational Requirements: Ability to provide basic First Aid to injured participants, communicate effectively both written and oral, resurfacing and maintaining Zamboni as authorized after demonstrating competency. General Knowledge of building and Zamboni maintenance preferred. Must demonstrate ability to interact with the public, both in a group and/or individual setting. Certification in CPR and First Aid highly desirable.
