The Wilson-Davis Scholarship:

(Graduates of Brush High School at the University of Northern Colorado)

Clarice Wilson & Glenn Davis

C

larice Wilson graduated from Brush High School in 1947. Encouragement from the Brush High School faculty combined with a tuition waiver granted by the State of Colorado and student-work opportunities extended by the college led Clarice to enroll at Colorado State College of Education (now UNC) in the fall of 1947.

Glenn Davis transferred to CSCE as a junior in January 1950 and also depended upon student-work opportunities to finance his education. Both Clarice and Glenn Davis are appreciative of the support they were accorded and feel their lives have been enhanced via their experiences at CSCE. Now retired in Estes Park , they are pleased to be able to assist outstanding students from Brush in attaining their goals through a UNC education.
