Payment
The national organization supports two plans of payment. Under Plan A students pay the in-state tuition and fees at their host campus. Under Plan B students pay their normal tuition and fees to their home campus. Also paid to the host campus, regardless of the tuition payment plan, are fees that are assessed as a condition of enrollment (e.g.: laboratory, general service, computer, technology, art and photography supplies, etc.). You will also be responsible for housing and living expenses, transportation, personal expenses, and sightseeing opportunities while on exchange.
UNC is a Plan B school only. We do not accept any students on a Plan A basis. Financial aid for eligible students is applied for, awarded by, and disbursed from the campus at which tuition/fees are paid.
