Alena Clark, Ph.D., RD

Dr. Alena Clark has practiced as a registered dietitian in hospitals, clinics and public health organizations primarily working with children with special health needs, breastfeeding women and patients undergoing treatment for cancer. She also has taught courses at Concordia College and Colorado State University. During her graduate work, she completed fellowships in maternal and infant nutrition focusing on infant feeding practices. Teaching and research interests include maternal and child nutrition, breastfeeding support, nutrition for children with special health needs and using the Internet as a way to disseminate nutrition information.
