The Dean serves as the academic and administrative officer of the College of Natural and Health Sciences and is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the College.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the College and University
  • Foster high-quality teaching, scholarship, and service in the College
  • Manage College personnel and resources
  • Participate in faculty recruitment, retention, and evaluation
  • Foster professional development among the College’s personnel
  • Promote academic initiatives and oversee the College’s curriculum
  • Oversee program review, assessment, and accreditation activities
  • Engage in development and fundraising activities
  • Implement planning for the College
  • Oversee the development and implementation of College policies and procedures
