Dr. Graham B. Baird joined the Earth Sciences faculty in the fall of 2007, subsequent to a one-year faculty teaching stint in 2006-07 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. An expert in hard-rock geology and geochronology, Dr. Baird has active research programs ongoing in the Adirondack Mountains of New York state and in northern Sweden. An avid outdoorsman, Graham enjoys hiking, camping, mountain and road biking, canoeing, as well as competes competitively in cross-country skiing, orienteering, plus adventure racing and triathlons. We wish students the best of luck keeping up with Dr. Baird in the field!
