Post-Baccalaureate Licensure - Physical Education K-12 Teaching

The Post-Baccalaureate Licensure program in Physical Education K-12 Teaching caters to students who have previously earned a Bachelor's degree who desire to teach in the public schools.  Students who complete this program will be qualified to apply for a physical education teaching license in the state of Colorado.

This program's requirements vary from approximately 61-74 credits and is usually completed in two years (5 semesters, full-time).  The program is held on-campus, with the exeption of one summer semester with 12 credits taken online. Students who hold a Bachelor's degree in a related (exercise science/physical education) area may qualify to have select courses waived, after a transcript evaluation is completed. Click below for a sample plan of study:
