Walking Mountains Science Center Partnership
Walking Mountains Science Center offers a two-year, full-time graduate fellowship that focuses on K-12 field science education and leadership. Fellows earn a Masters Degree in Science Education from UNC while working in beautiful Avon, Colorado.

Teacher Education Alliance, Mines-UNC Partnership (TEAM-UP)
TEAM-UP is an exciting new program is a partnership between UNC and the Colorado School of Mines for preparing secondary science and math teachers. Mines provides the content degree and UNC provides the Professional Teacher Training.
Secondary Graduate Licensure Program
If you have a bachelor of Science or Engineering, the Secondary Graduate Licensure Program allows you to earn your general science teaching license in as little as one year.
The elementary teacher licensure program includes a strong selection of five science courses ranging from Physical Science to Teaching Science in the Elementary School. Our faculty include experienced elementary educators who tailor these courses to preparing teacher candidates.
If you have a bachelor's degree, the Elementary M.A.T. program allows you to earn both a masters degree and your elementary teaching license in 14 months. SciTEP delivers the science methods courses for this M.A.T.
This Early Childhood undergraduate degree program provides an interdisciplinary liberal arts foundation for students who chose to pursue a teaching career in Early Childhood. SciTEP delivers the science methods course for this degree.
