Judy Yamaguchi

Office Volunteer for RSVP

Judy was born in Brighton, Colorado and graduated from Valley High School. She received a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education, a Master's in Counseling and School Administration, and her Doctorate in Education from UNC. Judy has taught in Steamboat Springs and was an assistant professor at UNC. She served as the principal of schools in Grand Junction and Platteville, and was the director of the Harbor House in Brighton until it closed. She is currently a court visitor for Weld County 19th Judicial District and on the Weld County Area Agency on Aging Board. She volunteers for the AARP Income Tax Program and the Platteville Senior Center. As an RSVP volunteer, Judy works tirelessly for our Grocery Shopping Program. When sharing with Judy that she had been chosen as volunteer of the month she responded, “Give it to someone who deserves it more than me."
