Dr. Diane B. Gaede is an Assistant Professor of Recreation in the Human Services Program at the University of Northern Colorado. She teaches several of the recreation core curriculum courses including: REC 203, Introduction to Recreation; REC 206, Commercial Recreation and Tourism; REC 368, Programs in Recreation; and REC 372, Recreation Leadership. She received her doctorate in Recreation Resources from Colorado State University. Her research interests include: commercial recreation, domestic, international and eco-tourism, and recreation survey research. She has collected research data on Flow and recreation in senior citizens, and gives conference presentations on the research evaluation process and questionnaire design.
