A few scholarships are available to offset tuition and to enable student participation in professional association conferences. Students who are members of Colorado Parks and Recreation Association can apply for a $500 to $700 tuition scholarship each spring, for the following academic year. Students may also apply to the UNC Recreation, Tourism and Hospitality program for available UNC Foundation scholarships – contact Dr. Diane Gaede or Dr. James Gould for more information. Typically Foundation scholarships will be applied for in the spring, and are awarded for the following academic year.

Monies are also available to majors with specific emphasis and interests through a number of funding sources including: Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau Foundation Scholarship program, Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation, Inc., the Jules S. & Obera Doubenmier Scholarship in Recreation, and the Human Services Scholarship.
