Financial Aid - Ph.D. in Nursing Education Program

Financial Aid:

The UNC School of Nursing applies for federal support for all graduate students yearly. You do not need to be fulltime to receive traineeship support from this grant. However, it is not given to all students and the amount varies from year to year.  The Nurse Faculty Loan Program is specific to the PhD and provides up to 85% loan forgiveness for those who work in nursing education after completion of the program. Other grant support may be available to qualified applicants and will vary from year to year based on funding source criteria.
