Education Emphasis - Overview
Through a Master of Science (MS) degree, graduates are prepared as educators and eligible to pursue doctoral study. Students can continue their current career and family life while attending school due to the program’s one-day/online class format.
The Education Emphasis prepares nurse educators for positions in education, community college settings, institutions of higher education, community health settings, and institutions that provide inpatient health care. The focus on chronic illness provides a clinical emphasis and introduction to the principles of case management, leadership, administrative and management based practice.
