Master of Science - Application
You must be admitted to the UNC Graduate School before the School of Nursing
reviews your request. To apply, submit the following materials in
a single packet along with the current application fee. Failure to
submit all required materials together will delay evaluation and
screening of your application.
Graduate School Requirements:
- A
completed UNC Graduate School Application form. (available
online and in print) and current application fee
- Two official transcripts from every accredited college or university attended since high school.
- GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) on the most recent 60 hours
of baccalaureate-level coursework
- Two letters of recommendation
- TOEFL Scores for international applicants
Nursing graduate program requirements (send these directly to School
of Nursing by electronic submission, post or FAX):
- A bachelor's degree in nursing from an NLN or AACN accredited
institution (from vita or resume)
- Proof of or eligibility for current Colorado licensure as a registered
nurse
- A written statement of career goals
- Current vita or resume documenting clinical experience (1 year
preferred)
- A personal interview may be required
- Application to the school of Nursing Program (Apply
now)
Applications are reviewed once annually; admission is competitive.
Applications must be received
by the Graduate School by February 1 in order to start
a nursing graduate program the following fall semester.
