Alison Merrill is an assistant professor in the School of Nursing in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado. She teaches undergraduate Medical-Surgical nursing courses and helps coordinate the medical-surgical lab courses and clinical rotations. She also teaches graduate level pathophysiology and is co-coordinator of the second degree BSN program. She received her Masters degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Oncology and Hematology. She is currently a PhD candidate at Colorado State University in the School of Education.
