Bret Lyman is a Lecturer of Nursing at the University of Northern
Colorado. He is the First Semester Coordinator and teaches
undergraduate courses in nursing fundamentals, health assessment,
clinical implications of laboratory data, and medical-surgical
nursing. He also has teaching expertise in the area of High
Fidelity Human Patient Simulation. He has been selected by
students in the Mortar Board as a Favorite Professor. Bret
is currently a PhD in Nursing Education student at the University
of Northern Colorado, where his study has been focused on evidence-based
teaching pedagogies, higher education administration, research
methods, and applied statistics. His research interests include
mentoring and succession planning in academic administration.
