Kathleen Dunemn is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado.  She holds masters degrees in Community Health Nursing and Nurse-Midwifery; and a doctorate in Nursing Sciences with an emphasis on Statistical Analysis and Research Design.  She teaches undergraduate courses in professional roles and graduate courses in epidemiology, nursing theory, health assessment, advanced leadership, and research and evidenced based practice.    Her research interests include practice and middle-range theory development, organizational change /process improvement, and effective teaching strategies.  Her areas of clinical interest and expertise are in Women’s Health Care across the life continuum, executive leadership, and evidence based practice in acute and non-acute care settings.
