Gayle Johnson Bohrer is a lecturer in the School of Nursing at the University of Northern Colorado. She currently teaches undergraduate courses in psychiatric-mental health nursing and Foundations of Nursing, and is a member of the School of Nursing pre-clinical advising team. As a volunteer, she has taught nurses in Vietnam as part of the Friendship Bridge Nurse Education Project. She holds a master’s degree in nursing education with emphasis in chronic illness. Her interests include chronic mental illness, narrative (life story) approaches to chronic illness, and providing continuing education for registered nurses.
