B.S. Nursing - Traditional Degree Program
Overview
The University of Northern Colorado School of Nursing provides a bachelor's degree program that prepares graduates for professional nursing practice and provides the foundation for graduate study in nursing.
Prospective Student Information
The traditional degree program is designed to be completed in 4 years including one required summer of study. Students must complete 126 semester hours of credit. At least 40 hours are from the Liberal Arts courses of the university (LAC - Liberal Arts Core) with the remainder of the hours from the required nursing prerequisite courses and nursing courses.

NOTE: At the time of application (early January of the year the student intends to start the clinical portion of the program) students must have completed all prerequisite courses or be enrolled in remaining courses that will be completed prior to mid-May of the year of clinical admission.
