The Learning Resource Center features a state-of-the-art High Fidelity Simulation Laboratory. One of its functions is research and scholarly activity to identify best practice approaches to low/ high fidelity simulation pedagogy and utilization of interactive technology to increase access to health care education. Priority activities include:

  • Promoting the utilization and integration of High Fidelity Simulation within health care education centers
  • Enabling High Fidelity Simulation models that provide faculty and graduate students with opportunities for multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and multi-institutional research in nursing education and best patient care outcomes
  • Facilitating the production and integration of evidenced-based simulation scenarios into health care curriculum
  • Promoting scholarly exploration of interactive technology as a vehicle to increased access to nursing education
