Susan Collins is an Assistant Professor of Gerontology in the Human Services Program at the University of Northern Colorado. Professor Collins teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in gerontology at UNC. Courses taught include GERO 205 (on-campus and on-line), Introduction to Gerontology;  GERO 620, Individual Development in Later Life; GERO 630, Intervention Strategies with the Elderly; GERO 640, Health and Biology of Aging; GERO 415, Biology of Aging; and GERO 490, Senior Seminar and Research in Gerontology. Dr. Collins serves on the Advisory Council of Weld County RSVP, and is the UNC representative for the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education. Her research interests include individual development within a life span context, attachment relationships in later life, and quality of life related to aging network services.
