$30,000 Doctoral Fellowship Opportunity
General information
Applicants to the doctoral program in the UNC School of Biological Sciences can be considered for a competitive fellowship of up to $30,000 per year for up to three years during the course of graduate training toward a Ph.D. in Biological Education.

Applicant selection criteria
- A US citizen or Permanent Resident of the US
- 3.5 GPA (some flexibility)
- 1100 combined Verbal and Quantitative score on the General GRE (some flexibility)
- Satisfactory Subject GRE score in Biology
- Qualified for admission to the UNC School of Biological Science's PhD program
- Recommendation from a faculty advisor supporting the nomination
- Demonstration of financial need
