What to do if you don't have an adviser

If you haven't been assigned an academic adviser, you should contact the biology office (970-351-2921 or biology@unco.edu) and an adviser will be selected for you. advisers are assigned based on their expertise in biology emphasis areas (i.e., Prehealth/Biomedical, Cell/Molecular, Organismal, Secondary Teaching). Then, make an appointment with your adviser (see contact information below).

What to do if you already have an adviser

Make an appointment to see your adviser. advisers typically have office hours signup sheets posted outside their office doors (see contact information below). This is the easiest way to reserve an appointment for advising during available times. Appointments outside normal office hours may be available, but you will need to contact your adviser first. E-mail works best.
