Donna J. Bottenberg, Professor Emeritus of Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences
Dr. Bottenberg served as a faculty member and administrator at UNC for 25 years. During her tenure she taught undergraduate and graduate courses and served as chair of the Department of Communication Disorders, Associate Dean, and Assistant to the President. She retired in 2005. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. While there, she studied neuroanatomy and physiology, and she completed several courses dealing with aging. Along the way, she provided clinical services at a local hospital but also, over the course of about 15 years, worked for several home health care providers. She has two grown children, five grandchildren, and a husband who is retired. In their spare time, they love to travel, play with grandchildren and play poker. |
