A cochlear implant clinic has been established at UNC through a generous grant from the Daniel’s Fund. As a part of this grant, we are excited to offer funding in the form of graduate assistantships for both Doctor of Audiology and Masters Speech Language Pathology students. This funding will be available on a semester by semester basis through at least the Summer of 2010. Admitted students to our on campus graduate programs will be eligible to apply for these positions.
Congratulations to our Fall 2009 graduate assistant awardees: Rachel Finan, Megan Bellendir, Anna Huber, and Kimberly Scavuzzo.
The Colorado Mason Benevolent Fund and the Scottish Rite Foundation of Colorado award four annual graduate scholarships in speech-language pathology to students each year who intend to focus on early intervention. Students apply in the spring of their first year. Student recipients are honored at the Annual Scottish Rite Foundation banquet in September.
Scholarship recipients at UNC in 2009: Kristin Michie and Alyssa Winbourn
