Callie Simpson

NHS Ambassador 2010-2013

Callie Simpson

“I love the amount of time and effort I, along with my fellow NHS Ambassadors, put in to create a welcoming environment for both new and current students. The transition into college can be an overwhelming and stressful time, and all students deserve to feel accepted by their peers. Each individual in the School of Natural and Health Sciences is an important part of the NHS community, and as an NHS ambassador, I take pride in knowing that I can make the difference for any of those important individuals.”

Callie is an undergraduate student with a double major in Human Services and Sociology and minors in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. Callie's professional goal is to become a medical doctor and volunteer in third world culture orphanages.

Along with being a full-time student and student ambassador, Callie is involved in the Pre-Health Professionals Club, Mortar Board, Biological Students Association, and works at a local clothing store.

This is Callie's second year as a Student Ambassador.
