Lizzi Overturf

“When I transferred to UNC last summer I distinctly remember seeing a couple of NHS Student Ambassadors (identifiable by the yellow polos), some of whom were even in the first course I took at UNC.  I recognize how these students were committed to their field of study; committed enough to be taking summer courses to stay on top of their degree.  These students were friendly and carried themselves professionally.”

An undergraduate student with a major in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Lizzi's professional goal is to have a career as a physician assistant.

On top of being a full-time student and student ambassador, Lizzi is in the Biological Students Association, participates in UNC dance performances, and works at a local dance studio.
