Beyond Therapy opens Feb. 6 with UNC students Devin Whitten playing Prudence, Zach Taggart in the role of Bruce and Jeremiah Light as Bob.
The University of Northern Colorado's College of Performing and Visual Arts' 2013-14 Performing Arts Series, which features students from the School of Theatre Arts and Dance, continues with Christopher Durang's Beyond Therapy, which plays Feb. 6-7 and 11-15 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 8-9 and 16 at 2 p.m. at the Norton Theatre in Gray Hall.
In Durang's outrageous romantic comedy, two young Manhattanites are seeking love. Their first date, via a personal ad, proves disastrous. The two report back to their respective therapists. Durang's plot, which has more bounces than a pinball game, goes from unexpected to the unpredictable, in an evening of hilarious chaos.
The performance is rated R.
