The Monfort College of Business will begin offering a master of Business Administration degree in fall 2014 following the recent approval for the new program by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education. The UNC Board of Trustees approved the program in June.
The program will offer a well-rounded base of business management knowledge many employers are seeking in this competitive job market. It will also be flexible in design, making it easy for students to fit into a busy schedule. Initially, courses will be taught in the classroom, with online offerings available in the future.
"We are thrilled to announce that the Monfort College of Business will soon be offering a high quality MBA program that will be easily accessible to everyone in Northern Colorado and the Front Range," said Don Gudmundson, "As the first and only business school to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award from the Office of the President of the United States, we are uniquely qualified to present an MBA program unlike any other."
The program will be based at UNC's Loveland Center at Centerra, located at 2915 Rocky Mountain Avenue.
"We know there is a demand for high quality MBA programs," said Don Gudmundson, dean of the college. "We have a reputation for excellence in our undergraduate program and will apply that same standard of excellence to our new MBA program."
