The University of Northern Colorado's Little Theatre of the Rockies, the oldest continually operating professional theater company in Colorado and one of the oldest in the nation, opens its 79th season June 13 with the ever-popular musical, The Fantasticks.
Directed and choreographed by UNC faculty member Matthew Herrick, the play includes memorable songs like "Try to Remember" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain" while telling a love story with twists and turns to keep the audience guessing how things will turn out.
The Fantasticks plays June 13-15 and July 10, 18, 19 and 27 at 7:30 p.m.; and June 16 and 28 at 2 p.m. in the Norton Theatre in Gray Hall.
