The University of Northern Colorado Alumni Association will host tours of Colorado's newest museum and a presentation by a Colorado historian on June 22.
The event at the History Colorado Center in downtown Denver Saturday, June 22, begins at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast and a presentation by longtime UNC history professor Mary Borg.
At 10 a.m., UNC attendees will be the first guests admitted to the museum for the day and will be free to tour the facility, which features numerous hands-on and high-tech exhibits, at their leisure. The $110 million History Colorado Center opened April 28.
Tickets for the event, which is open to the public as well as UNC alumni, are $15 for adults, $10 for children 4-12 and free for children 3 and under, and include the continental breakfast and presentation, entrance to the museum and parking.
The deadline for ticket orders is June 14.
