Have some down time this weekend? Take a look at what's going on around campus and see if anything piques your interest:
Friday, Feb. 8
Sculpture Show Exhibit by Weston Brownlee & James Moore
Time, Location: 4-6 p.m. in Mari Michener Gallery (on main level of Michener Library)
Walk through and appreciate the art of sculpture. With only seven days left in the exhibition, try to stop by at least once before it's gone.
Picasso at the Lapin Agile
Time, Location: 7:30 p.m. in Norton Theatre (in Gray Hall, east of Gunter Hall on Central Campus)
This absurdist comedy, written by Steve Martin, places Albert Einstein and Pablo PIcasso into a Parisian cafe in 1904. Toying with fact, fame and money Martin sets the stage for two very important men, who discuss the ups and downs of the century in the company of bystanders. There is also a twist at the end of the show you definitely won't want to miss.
See recurring schedule here.
Saturday, Feb. 9
UNC Women's Basketball vs. Montana State
Time, Location: 2 p.m. in Butler Hancock Hall/Sports Pavilion
Come cheer on women's basketball as they go head-to-head against Montana. Remember... bring your student ID and get in free. Go Bears!
