Students in the schools of Art and Design, Music and Theatre Arts and Dance always put on quite a show at the College of Performing and Visual Arts' annual UNC Art Gala, and this year the Feb. 9 event at the Union Colony Civic Center promises to be no exception.
The traditional show in the Monfort Concert Hall featuring the college's top performing artists will be preceded by an art reception in the Tointon Gallery with the college's best visual artists displaying and selling their creations. Tying it all together will be master of ceremonies UNC alumna Monika Vischer from Colorado Public Radio.
A complete schedule is on the Gala's website.
The faculty and staff of the College of Performing and Visual Arts invite the entire UNC community to join them for an evening of great entertainment. Tickets are on sale now at the Frasier Hall box office or by calling 351-2200. All proceeds benefit the college's scholarship fund.
